I'd suggest not trying to overthink' it. Don't worry about penetrating her - you can certainly please her in a number of other ways (using fingers, going down on her...) and she can do the same sort of things to you.

It might just be that when you are more comfortable with things, the penetrative sex will become less of a big thing and will be easier. We sometimes have nights where we don't actually fuck but can still have an amazing time, so it certainly isn't needed.
