There's an awesome film set in Belfast during 'the troubles'. I saw it on TV once, can't remember what it's called!! I'll get back to you...

It's a true story about a Belfast mother who started a pro peace group. She ended up speaking out against the IRA, despite being a Catholic republican and she was getting death threats and stuff.

We had 'This Sporting Life' yet - Amazing kitchen sink drama, Rchard Harris at his Peak.

The Hill is a great obscure Brit flick as well, interesting choice by Sean Connery, as is 'The Interview' a sort of brutal version of The Conversation...

There was this British film i saw a few years back that was really good but i cant think of its name.

Its set in Scotland about a troubled youth trying to set himself straight but gets caught up with the wrong crowd/drug dealers etc. Quite a dark film but was really well done.

    Anyone have any ideas?
