How much that applies these days with our socialisation is up for contention etc. but it's always going to be difficult to convince women (generalising) that they don't need to obsess over their appearance just the same away as you can't convince a man he doesn't need power (perfect example, if he is 'challenged' to a fight, often it can be hard to talk him into backing down, because he needs to prove he has the powah lol).
Agreed with Lea - WTF?!?!?
Diplomatic - might be worth er, spending some time taking a deep breath and counting to ten then posting?
I'd quite happily relax my no bastard rule if Brad Pitt wanted too although he wouldn't bother, not enough publicity for him :chin: I'd draw the line at Joe Jonas though, he looks a right Osmond cheesyball.
Pisstake aside, that post made me laugh. I guess in a weird way it did make sense, under all the angst. Basically it says pretty and perfect girls get dumped too. Which we all knew anyway since everyone gets dumped at some point in their life, it's character building!
She has stretch marks, cellulite and a bit of flab around her middle (mostly from losing a lot of weight). She's wearing an unfortunate pink thong. But she's bloody gorgeous.
This is true. The fundamental elements of female beauty - bright eyes, glowing skin, shiny hair, nice smile - are accessible to everyone. Eating a good diet and drinking lots of water is a start. Attractiveness isn't just a physical element either, it comes from within. It's hard but try and think confident, and you're instantly more attractive to others.
Meanwhile take care of yourself, body creams, make-up, whatever it takes. Make the most of your best features and you'll play down your worst ones.
As for the weight thing - men hate skinny women. I KNOW - I lost a lot of weight due to stress/maybe even a borderline eating disorder and now many of my guy friends tell me they can't look at me anymore, let alone fancy me! Men like to touch. Women should be soft not hard and bony. Look at Scarlett Johanson and Nigella Lawson for example... both curvy. Plus even Kate Moss has put a bit (ok a miniscule amount) of weight on and looks so much better for it.
