My Boy told me he's going to the GUM clinic soon, just out of the blue yeasterday. I asked him why and he just said he wanted to.
Odd thing is he never asked me to go with him [makes sense for me to go too?]
is this odd behaviour?
considering we've had a really rough patch recently where he was planning on cheating on me...

If I decided out of the blue to go to the GUM clinic I probably wouldn't want my boyfriend to go with me!
To be honest, I think you shouldn't worry about it being 'odd' because what he's doing is actually quite an amazing deed for a man! (Sorry if that sounds like a horrible generalisation but I know a lot of men who have interesting attitudes to GUM clinics...) So yeah, it's a very responsible thing for him to do whatever the reasons.
Keep on eye on the situation and make sure he's being good!
You can always treat him when he comes back with nothing
