ear popping after cold

I've had a cold recently and apart from being a bit sniffly it's gone but when I yawn my ears pop. Does anyone know how long it'll last? I didn't have the problem during my cold.

    I get this quite often. Just you've got chatar (sp?) behind your ear-drum that hasn't drained. Drink LOTS of water.
    I sometimes find sudafed helps a bit. And vicks inhaler.

    Other than that just wait for it to go back to normal... Might take a week or two. If it starts getting painful/getting headaches/not hearing well/feeling dizzy I'd see your doctor cos I've had ear infections that have started off like this before.
