Cant get a boner

My friend came to me for advice but i really didnt know what to tell him.
Hes 14 and he cant seem to get a boner any more. Its been 7 weeks since hes wanked.
He got a new girlfriend but they arent gonna do anything sexual for a long time. But the only time he gets a boner is when she hugs him.
Hes tried watching porn and it dont work.
Hes not gonna get a hand job off his girlfriend so what should he do to get a boner?
Please help. xxxx

If hes only 14 then hormones will be flying all over the place i reckon. If he gets hugs off his girlfriend then im sure when they get to sexual stuff he'll be fine.

Ya but hes not worried about that. Hes worried because he use to wank every day and get a boner easy as most guys his age but now he cant.
He cant get a boner.

I dont think it'd be a medical problem as he can get one in the company of his girlfriend; itll come to him naturally again i reckon.

No. He hasnt ever even been drunk. Hes not on anything.
He dont smoke fags or drugs he doesnt drink and hes not on any other drugs for medical conditions.
Thats where i got confused. Nothings wrong with him but he still cant get a boner.

He should be alright soon enough, im not sure what causes it but it happened to me and im fine now, and i seem to remmeber it happening to my friend.

Just tell him to lay off the wanking for a bit, i know he wont be happy but it helped me.
It didint last as long for me as it seems to have for him though, maybe give it another 2 weeks then tell him if it hasnt got better he should go to a clinic/doctors

Hmmmm ... he hasn't wanked for 7 weeks already. For a 14 year old boy, that has to be the most miserable world record. :impissed:

MonkeySpunk, erectile dysfunction in adult males is usually one of two things - psychological (e.g. anxiety) or medical (blood does not pass sufficiently into his penis). For a 14 year old boy to suffer from either causes would be a concern. He may need to to seek professional advice.

You didn't answer my question earlier though. Does he get a semi? And do you know if he wakes up in the morning with an erection?

Gawd, I can't go more than 4/5 days, let alone 7 weeks! o_O

I'm not sure what to say, might be a change in his lifestyle at the moment? Anything really bad/drastic happened? For him not to get it up at such a young age is worrying. Seek Professional advice.

He gets a semi.
Does that mean hes ok?
Hes been through a bad time.
His brother got bet up real bad and got hit in the eye and he went blind in one eye.
And my friend told the guards and he was scared they were gonna come after him too.
But that was two months ago and it dont bother him any more.
His brother was in hospital and got it fixed and hes okay again.

Hmmmm. Okay, perhaps what happened to his brother was traumatic but I personally don't think that it would have caused this issue.

You didn't say whether he wakes up with a boner in the morning or not? Most guys do - usually accompanied with a need to pee.

If he doesn't get a boner while he is sleeping, then it may be that he has a problem with his 'plumbing'. I know he may be embarrassed to see his doc but he ought to. The doctor can set his mind at rest that everything is working normally and he will recover. Or, the doctor may recognise that he has some underlying anxiety or stress that is affecting him. Either way, get him to see his doctor.

IF they don't do anything sexual related then I don't see how I needs a stiffy then.

Nah. Hes my best mate.
Two of my best friends are guys and we tell each other everything from home life, school to masterbation.
That msy sound weird but ive known them for years.

Hes too shy to go to the doctors. Hes scared his mum might find out and give him a huge sex talk and in all fairness, No kid my age wants to here there parents talk about the birds and the bees.
