    Well it doesnt SPECIFY love.

    But im assuming with it being xmas day its a family party, and i quote "These can be silly/funny/nice but have to be appropriate for both sexes of varying ages", this could lead you to think that there could be some older members of her family or someones family going.

    PLUS, im also assuming that the presents aren't aimed at anyone in particular .. prizes for the party games?

    TKMaxx are often reasonably good. We had a £5 max that we could spend but managed to get 7 things from there and quite a few were under £3. But we got:
    Corkscrew
    Cookery book
    Photo Frame
    Pedicure set
    Sweeties
    Battleships game
    Word game
