Home Heating

My house never stays warm.. It's heated by oil..
I want it to be warmer so have decided that if I leave the heat on constant.. and it gets stopped by the thermostat...

my house will stay warmer for longer as opposed to putting on an hour at a time throughout the day???
Beep boop. I'm a bot.

It sounds to me that you rinsulation may be inadequate. Oil fired heating isn't that bad, from what I have experienced. Have a look of getting your loft (and even your wall cavities) properly insulated. Most energy companies are doing it relatively cheaply because of government funding.

Maybe its the problem with your thermostat. Some heating systems have options to turn off auto thermostat. Have it checked from electrician if you are feeling cold it is not supposed to trip maybe the area where the thermostat is placed gets heated alot and it dosent reflect to the room temperature.
