Unusual sports

My workplace has just offered me training on a leadership course in sports which was happy news as I have been not long at my new job.

:chin: ... I was looking yesterday to see what unusual sports people do but only found a couple. Does anyone here have any unusual sport they do or participate in? I would like to see if there is any that could be done for young people? Or even me to try?;)

Lifesaving, absolutely awesome sport. Got everything going for it, fitness, life skills, team work, water confidence, screaming and shouting and so much more fun than just swimming up and down a pool.

Maybe not child friendly but it doesn't get much more unusual!

thanks I will have a look later at that site. Life saving? I would have to learn how to do that myself hehe...mind you who would save mine?

kite boarding, kite surfing, canyoning, parquore (sp?), stunt kite flying, surfing, a martial art?

don't do much apart from the martial art still, going to start doing kite boarding and stunt flying again soon though
