They gave us the shittest equipment in the world. Pissed us off. Seems that they think that because were students we arent serious.
The amp kept cutting out and there was no one about to help us out. So we had to make do with a shabby sound system. The speakers and monitors were shite as well, you really couldnt hear a thing you were doing. All you could hear was the bass from the other rooms in the clubs so all our dj's had to basically mix in our headphones .. which isnt the way to do it in my opinion. So while we were mixing we could hardly hear our own speakers and what we were doing. Nightmare.
But saying all that i had quite a few randoms coming upto me and saying they loved the stuff i played so that was pretty cool.
Just one of those things that happen, good learning experience
