how is council tax affected when living with a student?
Next year im going to uni but me and my boyfriend will be living together in our own rented accomodation and i was wondering what would happen as students are exempt from council tax

    He will pay 75% of the total. 50% of council tax is for the property and 50% is for the tenants and as you are exempt he will have to pay the 50% for the property and his half (so 25% overall) of the tenant part.
