Getting in touch with the landlord

I'm useless at this and it's just really to ask if we would all be able to move in on the 1st September (so not this Monday but the Monday after). Only it's the weekend and I wouldn't want to pester but at the same time I really want to check it's okay to move in on the 1st as a certainty because we are all so excited! The only thing is it's now the weekend...then there is bank holiday monday..

I have his mobile number. Do you think it would be less intrusive if I text?

Oh and he neverrr seems to check his emails so that's pretty much off.

Yeah I texted in the end. Haven't heard anything but hopefully he will set the date aside. Full rent starts on September 1st so we should be able to move in then :chin:

there will be times you need to call him at the weekend.

Being a landlord isnt a 9-5 job. saturday afternoon is not an unreasonable time and it isnt like youre harrassing him.

I'll give him a ring monday (even if it is bank holiday) if he hasn't responded. Thanks for the suggestions

You're a tenant 24/7, and they're a landlord 24/7. It's not reasonable to contact them during the night unless it's an emergency, but you're allowed to make any reasonable request at any reasonable time of the day IMHO.

Just because you feel uncomfortable speaking on the phone, doesnt mean you dont have the right to ring the landlord at a reasonable time of day!
