and yeah portability is a factor, so im looking for a 15 inch screen now
1-2GB Ram
100GB + Hard driver
Least a dual core 2 Processor
But I was only looking for 2 minutes, so I'm sure someone can beat it.
I use a VAIO for the sims etc, works okay, not the best but I'm not a graphic noob. As long as it plays and doesn't lag too much, I don't mind.
Nonsense. For a long time they'd have caught fire before the 6 month deadline, but that's been sorted now . And it was an industry-wide problem, the batteries were manufactured by Sony.
Laptop battery life is entirely dependant on use by the owner, and their particular habits.
The battery on my Dell laptop, with a 17" 1920x1200 screen and without the power saving abilities of the core2duo processors, is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes. My battery is approximately 4 months old, and is currently as good as the day it was delivered to me.
So is my smartphone, incidentally. That'll be 3 years old in a couple of weeks, and still lasts between 4 and 5 days on a full charge.
