I have an obsession with avocados at the moment :yum: Anyone got any good recipes involving avocados? I'm just eating them plain at the moment but had it with ham and light Philadelphia in a pitta the other day, that was lovely.

Doesn't look much but just didn't fancy anything today.. I had melon, grapes, Cadburys animal biscuits, one and a half jaam doughnuts and a bit of everything from a Chinese takeaway tonight.

Am going shopping for packs of crackers, cheese spread and mini buns for sandwiches tomorrow. My interferring boss gave me a sarky lecture earlier so I'm going to fill the works fridge!

Thanks all for your congrats (apologies for derailing the thread!) :D

Yesterday I made a smoothi for my breakfast :yum: . I used frozen berries, natural yogurt, soya milk, spoonful of linseeds (not sure what these are for someone just said to put them in :chin: ), spoonful of porridge oats and a little bit of hunny..was good :thumb:

A snack pack of dried berries and cherries and 2 pink lady apples as a quick lunch. We had so many patients to visit that didn't get time for lunch

Post gym and pre laser quest chicken and pitta bread with some salad..boring but quick!

Just a quickie, for those who are liking avocados at the minute, they are down from 72p to 40p on Tesco. It's part of their weekly pledge to reduce the cost of fruit and veg, not sure what the changeover day is, but it was on a full pag ad in yesterdays Mirror.

..So yes I've eaten lots today...

Nowt wrong with eating lots - was nearly all good stuff anyway. You even had fruit in your pudding! ;)

I've had a ham salad granary baguette, and two caramel shortcake squares. Plus copious amounts of tea.

ARGH! Just can't get into this healthy eating stuff. I've never eaten big meals or necessarily three square meals a day and I have no appetite right when I need to have! :banghead:

I have not stopped eating for about 48 hours now, it's been nice in some way but urgh in others!

Went to the gym yesterday to balance some of it out but nowhere near enough lol, probably going to be twice a day this week... booooooooobies

Had a beautiful medditerean vegetable tart last night though, the veggies were chargrilled and the skins were black and peeling on the peppers, yum. Had it with sauce potatoes as well - beautiful!

    Was pricey but worth it.

    Got nailed on JD then

ETA: As for the other topic of convo, I got laid and had 2 blowies - have to take her to fancy hotels more often! haha
