Well I'm thinking about going back into the whole Web hosting scene again.
But I want somewhere, where I can upload my pictures a good 500mb+
Good download and upload speeds, easy access and is reliable and cheap!

I'd look into godaddy. It's US based but have pleny of space. It comes with a bandwidth limit, but this is pretty high, and should be enough for most purposes. Don't have it myself, but the ones I know that have been using that web hotel have been pretty satisfied.
The only thing you need to think about when using overseas web hotels is response time. Could be some issues with high performance video streaming, but pictures should be just fine.
