    Here's a cheery moment then guys...

    Michael Knighton (current owner or Carlisle) nearly bought MUFC a few years ago...

    Just think how different things could have been. At the time the fans thought he would be a saviour from Edwards but now, we count our blessings that he couldn't raise enough cash.

    As for other clubs it is very sad that they struggle so, perhaps we should be looking at amateur status or feeder clubs...but certainly looking at player wages.
