YouthNet is looking for people to take part in interviews in newspapers, magazines, online, radio or tv in June as part of a campaign based around financial information for young people. We’d like to hear from people aged 16-25 who can talk about their financial situation openly. The media will be particularly interested to hear from you if you’ve experienced any of the following, but do get in touch if you feel you have an interesting story to tell. (As this is particularly sensitive there may be an option to be interviewed anonymously)

- Your mental health has suffered because of your financial situation

- You feel you were bullied into taking credit out you couldn’t afford

- You are/have been in a lot of debt and feel there isn’t enough help out there for people your age

- You have taken/ or still take a ‘cross your fingers’ attitude to budgeting which has resulted in you getting into debt

If you are interested or have any questions, please email your contact details to media@youthnet.org before Friday June 13, 2008. All correspondence will be strictly confidential so feel free to get in touch to find out more without any commitment.
