An interesting programme on BBC2 tonight for those interested in the social and moral changes Britain was going through in the 60s, 70s and beyond.

By the sound of it Whitehouse is given a very easy and sympathetic ride on this- in reality she was a despicable, dark, hate-filled woman of extreme, nasty bigotry and fanatism. But it should still be interesting to watch.

    Any woman who can garner that sort of hyperbole from Aladdin can't be all that bad in my book.
