Who's attending the massive party on the tube to comemorate the last day we can drink on it?

    I've got a feeling there could be a lot of trouble on that night - That message has gone out to ten's of thousands of people telling them to all get on the same train .. hmm :chin:

    Whenever my uncle used to go to the cricket at Lord's, if it was rained off, him and his mates just used to sit on the Circle Line and have their lunch on it.

    Tourists seem to find this most odd...

    No, I am avoiding the main one as the police are likely to shut it down. Why the fuck would you attend something with 4500 people (probably a lot more now) when you'll be queuing for hours just to get on a train?! Stooopid.

    My friends and I (so far, well over 60) are having our own. Starting at 1pm, so the Poooo-leeeece won't be expecting it. We can then meander our way around after that, and fade gently into a booze fuelled haze.

    Muaha, muaaahahahahaha, MUUAAAAAHAAHHAHAH etc.

    We even have a banner.

    I dont think that many people will actually turn up.. But if it's hassle i'd leave it.

    Heh - We had ours at about 1:30. We ended up with two photographers from the Telegraph and a reporter along with us for a lap of the Circle line! :D Good fun, and glad we did it. It's going to be stupid with so many people.

    Working now. Suckage.

    lol i can think of better ways to spend an evening than crammed in with a bunch of sweaty drunks on the tube, plus my mate's having a lock in tonight so it's not a hard choice :)

    ETA: it would be fun to watch the rozzers confiscate all the booze when the clock hits 12 though, i imagine that will kill the party dead.

    That is a video from last nights party, but these have happned on many other occasions, whats to stop people doing this without the alcohol?

    Will it actually be illegal to be drunk on the tube too, not just carrying or drinking alcohol?

    As explained in P&D it already is, I imagine they will tighten up on it now though.
