It's one thing to have an affair, but this prat takes the piss.

Still, I expect nothing better from the Blackburn scum...

i like o'neills, it has a classic old man's pub kind of feel to it, you can just enjoy a pint and chat in there

so you liked leicester ? i hate it, didn't you find a kind of intimdating atmosphere about the place ? loads of slags mind you, thats a strong point of the place well as long as you enjoyed it, shame about the result i guess, still looks like all is well again after monday night.

does it matter. half of the world has affairs they dont all get pasted in the papers. his privacy should be respected!
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
If you publically portray yourself as a family man then you get everything you deserve...

Also, had he not got the injuction most people wouldn't have cared, look at the reaction when we found out who it was...half the population didn't even know who he was ... but he tried to use the law to cover up the fact that he had an affair, and THAT sucks.

Like I said, its one thing to have an affair, but what he did just made things worse...

shows what you's know if ya's dont know who he is. he is allowed a private life and its none of our fucking business what he does in his private life. And the only reason he tried to stop it is cuz some sad journalist was going to write bout him anyway.
• Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
beatusoon, we know who he is, he just isn't the big star we were lead to believe would be named also yes he's allowed a private life, but if he does things which are unacceptable then he must expect the media are going to get on his case, its the same for everyone, the very fact he tried to get it covered up is the very reson its recieved so much attention. I read this week he's spent 30 odd hours in police custody over certain activites involving a girl and Craig Hignett which suggests he really has been up to no good.

If your happy to recieve thousands a week performing for the public then you should have the decency to behave if you wish to be left alone, the public pays his wages indirectly

I don't really care if he's had an affair, it seems everybody does it these days, what i resent is the fact he tried to lie and cover it up, he got caught he should accept it like a man

but it aint just a cock up its a very personal thing that shouldn't be known by the public. players getting into fights or causing trouble deserve the media on there back because they are attracting attention flitcroft was keeping him self to those few people therefore he wasn't affecting the public

Whether the press should and shouldn't reveal such information isn't really the point as far as i'm concerned, they do its fact of life and he knew it, its happened to countless others before him, why does he consider himself so special that he feels it neccessary to take an injunction out ? I'm sorry but its the price you pay for the lifestyle you decide to live, the potential consequences of his actions would of been quite clear to him, yet he risked it, its not like this is ground breaking stuff from the press

What about his wife ? She didn't know until he had to tell her, call it investigative journalism

At the end of the day he knew full well what would happen if he had an affair, it happened and he wasn't man enough to hold his hands up and accept he was wrong.
