Just read this, how sad.

Glad to see the main attackers getting at least 16 years each.

There are some sick kids out there - I remember when I was younger waiting at a Bus stop with a friend and then some little kid way younger then us coming up and starting to attack my friend for no reason at all.

I hope the sentence stays that long, i cant remember the exact story, but there was a case where a kid had his football stolen and when his dad went to get it back he got beaten to death, and the guys that got a long sentence appealed to get it cut.

If you do anything like that i think getting a long sentence is only just.

Because this country is going down the shitter.

Dont need to be a nazi or a BNP supporter to agree.

There's always a few sickos out there though. When my dad was 4 he was dangled over a railway bridge by some protestant kids (he was catholic).

I blame it on our society as a whole. The way we live... it doesn't work!

16 years? For murder? This is the sickest part sofar! Such a terrible attack and murder. And not even life?

    Fucks sake.

Thats before being eligable for parole i think ...meaning he can't apply for parole till he has done 16 years ...and then it takes some.

    I think it's a viscous circle.

We don't teach kids how to behave, don't teach them good parenting skills, etc - then when they grow up they themselves have kids and don't teach their kids any better either.

What we do have is a time frame where by law kids have to go to school more should be done to use that time to educate and inform more kids how to live peacefully with other people.

The shame is if you took those same boys gave them different parents or different environment their behaviour could have been so different.

We live in a world where we have to consume and discard. The landfill is the foundation stone of western society ...if we don't keep chucking stuff away ...our whole society collapses.
In more or less every area of life now ...it's similar.
Bored with this wife ...get another ...bored with this family ...get another.
Bored with this phone this game these trainers ...get another.
No sense of loyalty or comittment anywhere.
Love ...the word has become meaningless to many as they have never or rarely witnessed it in their own lives ...dads gone or mums gone ...fewer kids have extended family any longer as in aunts ...uncles grandparnts etc ...that actualy take an active part that is.
The family for thousands of years has been the foundation of every society ...the glue that binds it all together ...now mostly shattered and broken ...no bonds ...no loyalties.
The foundation stone of the modern world is the dump ...which is kinda sad.

i agree it has a lot to do with family or lack of family rolly. and that the commercialised western world has little place for the family. but i usually conclude that people who do those things no doubt had a bad upbringing as a child - 9/10 thats not wrong.

I wouldn't give them paraloe at all.

Anyone who can kick and beat someone to death for no reason isn't the kind of person I would want to ever be on the streets and free.

They would however make some nice forced labourers.

They may not ever get parole mate ...the people who decide these things are people just like you ...and even me!

I don't think it has to be a bad upringing as such ...just a lack of moral values ...and saying that can open a hell of a can of worms.
There seems to be little respect for anything ...even self.
Simple things like a bar of chocolate were a treat when i was a kid ...now you can stuff your face with iot all day ...so it has little value ...and that applies to most things ...want a couch ...have now pay later. The general atmosphere in the modern western world for many is ...me me me ...what about me ...i want it and i want it now.

Fortunately, we don't actually have this law, they have to be educated at the parents' responsibility, but don't HAVE to go to school.

rolly is spot on here, no sense of loyalty or respect for anything or anyone seems to be the in thing these days. i for one will never raise a family in this type of society or send my kids to a state school esp in london, too many influences beyond the control of parents today makes it hard to instill the right values through childhood.

If i understand history at all ...it's when it gets like this that civilisations collapse.

The right values?:chin: mmmm ...thats a very tricky one these days. We supposedly live in a world of more choice but i believe we actualy live in a world with less.
What if You wanted to bring your kids up with certain religous values that you hold dear ...many more people than ever frown on such choices ...even see it as a form of child abuse ...as has been stated in this forum.
Dropping out and living an alternative lifestyle is becoming increasingly difficult ...unless you have pots of dosh.

i know i'm working on it.....well the right values are subjective of course but to me chlid abuse is feeding your kids crap food and stuffing them in front of the tv because you're too busy.....religion and faith is definitely unique to each of us it can't just be taught, but if noone ever tells you about it how are you supposed to make your mind up? atheism is just as bigoted as christianity or islam in it's most extreme form.
