Does anyone remember the days when their girlfriends asked how we could watch people just running round on a pitch and find it intresting, and how we can't appreaciate skill, and cool collectiveness. Then when we watch snooker and they say it's boring

I wouldn't be able to watch more than a frame or so at a time, and I still don't know how the scoring works, but that's not the point!

It is boring. Hence the low viewing figures and lack of back page coverage.

Big Up to Peter Ebdon tho'

i got really annoyed that there was something going on up in the audience and the camera did not show what.

it would have added excitement to the game.

Great sport, don't watch a whole match but highlights and the later rounds are excellent, skill on a stick!

I was hoping Ebdon would win and what a performance, i can't believe how easy they make it look very talented people

They must train like bitches, what I don't understand is why do players get worse when they are older, what part of their skill deteriorates from the age of 35 onwards?

In the case of snooker the component of fitness that would most affect the game by deteriating in old age would be hand eye co-ordination.

For the most part, it's a mildly interesting game. But when it's 17-17 in the final frame, with Ebdon leading by 54 with 59 left of the table...yeah, it's pretty exciting.

Well i actually really like snooker Its probably because my dad used to be a semi-professional player, he gave it up but still plays locally so i kinda got brought up with it.
I always watch the snooker on tv even tho my mates totally take the piss
(waits for abuse about being a sad loser lol)

Snooker is brilliant once you get into it, but I only ever watch the World Championships - it's something special. I missed kost of this year's though cos I'm at uni Watched the final session of the final though - that was pretty special.
