I got a bit carried away
Its like being broody but wanting a wedding dress not a baby.
I love this one! That's how I want my sleeves
Oh and on the way home today: http://www.truebride.co.uk/showDressDetails.php?dressCode=W751
Here's some wedding photos from me: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=14843&l=2bf2d&id=727660131
The hem of my white dress was rather less white after our time in the orchard, but it was such a wonderful day...
Hope your shopping trip this weekend isn't too scary, kaffrin. Can't wait to see your dress
Wow, you (in fact the whole wedding) look so beautiful and elegant
Aww
Thanks Acrobat and Helen Pulling it altogether was a bit of a stress, as the wedding was in a different city to where we were living at the time, and we left for Europe four days later!
I would've loved to be able to make my own dress, but my sewing skills only extend to replacing buttons.

Ohh I was going to ask where you got married - but i'm guesing from the cake in the states?
We got married in the hall where I used to go to Brownies, on the west coast of Auckland, New Zealand - and the photos from afterwards are on my parents orchard.
Oh god that is too cute
(I cant' see any of my guides opting to get married in the school where I run it though)
Wow, the whole day looks ace. Nice dress. And nice photos!
I have FOUND MY DRESS. Typically, it is none of the things I was looking for. Bit like men really. You can have a type, but you can't help who you fall for!
Can't find a picture anywhere (not got it home yet), and it sounds much shitter than it looks, but it's just a bit darker than ivory (woman called it 'buttermilk'), really simple at the front - straight across strapless style but with teeny shoestring straps, and really nice pleat detail at the back. Phwoar x lots. Since the straps are only tiny, I may well go down the lacy shrug route. I like that lots.
How exciting :hyper:
It does sound lovely
I wanna see! Sounds lovely!
I always said that it was much harder to choose my dress than my husband!
Glad you've found something that you love, kaffrin. Can't wait to see the pictures
