I've just been told that if I get 2 B's in my exams this year my dad'll pay for me to go <IMG alt="image" SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0"> so fingers crossed...
Stayed at the Lancaster for 1 night, worked out 24 quid each for 3 of us, well worth it.
We went for our 'smokes' at the Bulldog 'Coffeeshops' (would of been rude not to), thought these were the best and we got our food from Burgerking because the Burgers actually look like the ones advertised in the pictures for once.
First time there, except the RLD and 'Coffeeshops' what is another good day/night out as we are going again. Also, where's good to eat?
Cheers
Sorry to deviate.. <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="smile">
Easyjet do quick flights and once you get to the airport you can get the train to Centraal Station in Amsterdam which takes about 20 mins or so. When you get out of the station, cross over the bridge and there's a big road straight ahead where the shops are. To the left of that is the red light district where there are always loads of hotels.
The easiest thing to do is wonder round until you've found somewhere decent. I've stayed in The Crown and Hotel Remember and although they're basic, what else do you need!?
They are right in the centre near all the coffee shops and all the sights, and not very expensive at all for a twin room. The red light district is a bit dodgy at night whith all the guys going 'Charlie!' all the time bvut once you get used to that it's fine
I hope that helps! It really is a piece of cake (talking of cake don't try some of the hash cakes as I thought I was going to diue and was very very ill! You have been warned!)
Have a great time <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">
