Mind you, the same thing can be said of most musical genres nowadays.

There's a lot of Hadrcore tracks that have been ripped to produce some comercial Trance tracks see Flip&Fill.

And I'm with you on the Garage, I used to hate though now I enjoy garage tunes old and new.

I love a bit of Hard Trance too. If you ever remember an old adventure video game called 'The Dig', you may have heard the sample in this track before.

I think those two owe the world an apology for some of the dreadful stuff they've put out over the years. "Shooting Star" never fails to make my ears bleed, even now.

It's no surprise to find a trance record being titled "Cozmic Orgasm", is it? :p As for the sample, I'll have another listen to that a little later - my net connection's a bit slow right now.

It did originally appear as hardcore track back in 97 (not a great era in hardcore) and has been flogged ever since.

How's about Sunbeam - Outside World, everybody should know this one.

I don't know why, but when garage music first came about in the late 90s, I absolutely loathed it. Now that it's back in the form of bassline house, I like it. And really liking that particular one.
Just got the new CD out, The sound of bassline. Been blasting it all night. If your a speed garage fan, its a good CD. :thumb:

So am I. I do find I'm stuck in 90's timewarp though - far prefer music from that era. Roots and culture.

A lot of people don't like hardcoe but they very rarely give it a chance.
CLSM is the dogs bollocks even if you aint into hardcore and the man behind CLSM is Jon Doe.
Check out Timebomb - quite rightly an expensive bit of vinyl.

Nope I don't think so, well actually I may have heard Friction play it but I was pretty jabbered up at the time, I'll do a search...

    One more from me...

    Hervé: Cheap Thrills (Dubsided/Data) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HB_8TBrzLs
This is one track that you're going to be hearing loads in the next couple of months. It came out on Dubsided last year, and has now been signed up by Ministry of Sound. One listen to it and you'll know exactly where the sample comes from! The YouTube clip has the original, and there's also a brilliant remix by Laidback Luke doing the rounds.

(just noticed that the Laidback Luke remix can be heard by checking the Related Videos section on that webpage)
