Ive been in to all sorts of dance music since the early 90's but even now through youtube there's a whole range of tracks and music I'm only discovering right now, every day.

Old, new, obscure - what've you got that's good for me and anybody else that we might not know about. Post a youtube vid and share...

I don't know where this misunderstanding comes from, but Deadmau5 isn't a group. He's just one person, a Canadian guy called Joel Zimmerman. Other aliases he uses include Halcyon441 and BSOD.

Have a look for some DJ Mystik stuff, cheesy but I like a lot of his remixes.

I think his music is used for a lot of that nerdy Japanses cartoon stuff, so I refuse to post any You Tube links.

Gotta post a link to this.

Luna-C (Kniteforce) has produced some a superb tracks over the years combining elements from different genres to produce intelligent hardcore tracks. You should really check out this guy if your a fan of any genre of dance music.

I hadn't before now. Again, pretty good stuff.

I think the problem that hardcore music has is its perception. Let's face it, the first time that most people hear about hardcore will be on TV adverts which advertise an album called "The Best Hardcore Anthems Ever", which are normally filled with the most awful, awful cover versions of tracks which were rubbish in the first place. (yes, I'm referring to you, All Around The World Records...)

Mind you, the same thing can be said of most musical genres nowadays.

I don't know why, but when garage music first came about in the late 90s, I absolutely loathed it. Now that it's back in the form of bassline house, I like it. And really liking that particular one.
