At the moment I am filling out my UCAS application form. I have heard that the system has changed and that from this year the universities that you apply to will not know where else you have applied. Is this true, as it may affect where I apply.
PS I have tried e-mailing UCAS without much success.

Apparently at places like Oxford and cambridge if u put down both, NEITHER will let u in, cos they want you to be loyal to one.. or thats what i heard anyways!!

That isn't true because you can't apply to both nowadays (you used to be able to and there was that kind of attitude then, and rumours that if you put Cambridge in first place and Oxford second then Oxford wouldn't accept you, although it didn't always work out like that).
But nowadays Durham for example often won't give you an offer if you've put either Oxford or Cambridge on your UCAS form which is pretty stupid, because they're roughly the same standard universities and the only reason someone would apply to Durham and not Oxbridge is if they didn't like the courses offered there. And it's just stuck-up to have that kind of favouritism. (Guess who's applying to both Cambridge and Durham..... )
