Well if i dont get into uni my only hope of being with my girlfriend lies with clearing, so i really hope i do bloody get it, got a nice lil cottage in north wales lined up <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    Is there a question hidden in there somewhere? Must admit to being quite confused. Is this a relationship question/statement or a request for advice on getting into the uni of your choice? Am I just rambling on and missing the point of your post entirely?

    im sorry it wasnt very clear it was late and i wasnt sure where to put it, basicly i live in swansea and my g/f currently in kilmarnock 5-600+miles away - we are both trying to get into bangor but im not sure what ill do if i cant. <IMG SRC="confused.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    Hey, my dad's office is in Kilmarnock! I would like to work for Hunslet-Barclay (also Killie-based) but they haven't replied to my letters.

    First things first then ... what are the chances that you will both get the grades to get into Bangor? Do you have a back up University? How near is this to Bangor?

    If the worst comes to the worst you could pick any random course at Bangor through clearing although I feel that may be somewhat drastic. There are many options available to you if you don't get the grades ... resitting and going the next year etc etc.

    I don't know the history of your relationship with you and this girl and so don't know how essential it is that you both go to the same place.

    More details probably would be useful at this point regarding your relationship and your grades etc etc.
