8th week apathy...

Does anybody else find that they just can't motivate themselves to do work in the last week of term? I feel like it should already be over... now that the end is in sight, I don't have any more energy.

How can I motivate myself and get through this last week? Perhaps loads of sugar would help.. I think I may just be overtired...(yes, I realize that I'm up past 4am...)

xx

8th week isn't for working, have you not realised this yet? And you a non-first year, too...

No time for laziness for me. The last week is when all my courseworks and reports have to be handed in. Its also the week when the print queue goes up to about 48 hours rather than the usual 2, as everyone tries to hand in work at the same time.

Studying for exams when I come back. Which involves doing the vacation reading that my tutors assign, so that I can actually answer the questions on the exams. Ugh. That and working. Oh joy!

I am an English student also and am proud to announce that I have read only two of the required novels for my first year modules so far. Only 4 weeks left now, bring it on

Bloody uni students with their overly long holidays, and spending the tax payers money on booze.

Got to say I think the holidays are too long, and I am a student! If they were shorter, people could get degrees quicker and not get into debt so much.

eg. Out of 52 weeks, only 20 am I required to be in uni, that's less than half a year.

Why?? Oh the cruelty of it all.. to get a cold (or is it flu? I can't tell yet) at the end of term... will it drag on into my holiday? Most likely...
