What else? Well, it is a really good subject which lets you think about your beliefs. Seminars are especially good because you find people with different views who re willing to defend them, which becomes very challenging to your patience!!
Anything else you want to know about it, send me a private message or just write on here!

my knowledge of it is that (like already been said) they teach the course as if u hadnt been taught it at a-level.
if u have been taught it at a-level, in some unis ur allowed to skip the whole first year, or sometimes they make u do some other modules from another subject.
Just out of interest, where have you applied? BA/BSc?
anyway, i would never want to skip the 1st yr because u only do certain modules at a-level. im doing crime and deviance, education, the family and religion but there r tons and tons of other modules that we havent done that u wud need to learn in the 1st year, plus it wud be in grater depth, so i dont understand it really, but thats the way it is 4 some places 4 sociology.
