transfering songs from old ipod to new one..

i got a new ipod touch today which is great and im wanting to put all of my songs from my old ipod mini onto it.

however, im on itunes now (where all my songs are obviously kept)
and its not allowing me to put any of these songs on my new one.
does anyone know how to do this??! im completely stuck :confused:

its annoying cuz ive only got the rubbishy songs that the thing came with to listen to :impissed:

    Don't these DRM-using stuff require you to delete them from the old player (using your pc) before you can put them in a new one?

    It's stuff like this that really puts me off iPods

    Any other MP3 player the two machines would just come up as two external hard drives and you could copy from one to the other using windows explorer.

    I agree, I tunes is a pain in the arse. Although it can be done, goto the help file and it'll do step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
