Deleting website history

Random question, but how do you delete website history that comes up in the address bar when you type in a website beginning with that letter?
Don't wanna delete all of it, just some of it!

Pointing at it and pressing delete should do it. At least it does in firefox.

Assuming that you use IE, press the History button on your menubar. This will make the history show up on a left sidebar, like you get in Windows Explorer. There, you can right-click undesired sites and hit delete.

    rofl ms word.

Another way of deleting that is going to start menu, the settings, taskbar and start menu and theres an option to delete recently viewed items, that comes under that too, in older versions especially.

That's for deleting all at once though, not what was asked. ;)

But yes, totally agreed on the last one. Especially with Portable firefox existing, that you don't even need to install.
