My friend is at Uni of Sussex studying intellectual history, and it's a very decent uni. Nice and peaceful campus, but the accomodation I saw was functional but not amazing.

The bars on campus are pretty cool and cheap! Also, it's only a 10 min train journey/20 min bus journey into Brighton.

Sussex is nice because it's coastal and has quality weather in the summer, the people are sound but you know what they say about Southeners.

I have family in Eastbourne and that really is a place for old people to go and wait to die.

Don't know about the nightlife but the restaurants are very good. There are alot of French students about and Cypriot/Greeks (I think), good atmosphere.

Oi, enough about Southerners! I live in the town next to Eastbourne so I'm aware of the pensioners thanks!
