    Most of the ones I have been in! have had a back entrance off the street if you are scared which is quite funny, although its time for a hat and some sunglasses I think :p

    Being to a few before, but I wasn't nervous about it at all and just had a laugh walking round!!

    I think I've being in the one your talking about in Kavos, lol, the fist was a bit OTT :-) I bought a decent porn dvd from that very shop but I left the fist where it was!!

    It was on the main strip, the other side of the road from the beach, not far from one of the big clubs. Hard to miss it really!

    Ugh!!!! I would crack up if I saw someone I knew in there, buying really strange porn.

    Ooo Maybe it was a different one then!! Think the one I went in was on the same side as the beach right at one end of the main strip, the quieter end really, we only saw it cos our apartment was up that end!!

    You don't say where you live but there are loads of 'ann summer' type places just along oxford circus (side with Topshop, heading away from OC). They have the more hard core stuff downstairs so if you are like me and just browsing for fun stuff, you can stay upstairs and don't have to risk feeling nauseous!!!

    I didnt even go in the sex shops, I just looked in a few windows and that was enough for me.

    The part of Paris I stayed in as well was quite seedy, loads of sex shops and strip bars and at times I wish I didnt know the level of french I do (I.e. We are dolls specialists, more then 30 types!) :sour: And as you go out Brussles North station you can see prositutes in the windows of a couple of buildings.

    If you are in London there is a good one called "Harmony" on Oxford Street and also on the Charing Cross Road. They are much better than Ann Summers.

    No one will bat an eyelid. The staff want your custom, the seedies, the dirties and the alkies couldn't care less :thumb:

    Constant offers of help in Ann Summers and its ilk are very annoying though. Best to go, er, off the beaten track where the assistant is more often than not sitting behind the counter watching some of the finest DVDs offerings the shop has. Ha.

    Just march in there like you're not remotely embarrassed. It's no big deal and it certainly is neither here nor there to the employees :)

    The one on Charing Cross Road is tacky as all Hell but the one opposite the Plaza is nicer.
