Most of them are pretty much the same!
I like the Bull Ring, and Merry Hill. I think Birmingham would be a good place for a shopping weekend because you could go to both, and Merry Hill opens till midnight when it gets close to Christmas.

I live 10mins away from the trafford centre and it's pretty good and has everything you'd need really. If you were getting a train to Manchester though you would then need to sort out a bus to the trafford centre. But if you go on their website I'm sure it will give you directions and bus numbers.

The trafford centre is already huge but they're expanding it at the moment, it's gona be fuckin massive!

The Centre:MK (Milton Keynes) is the biggest in europe apparently....

I tend to go shopping in Brum at the Bull Ring (my mum's a brummie) and Brummies always ask me why I travel to Brum when I live in MK with the shopping centre as big as it is!

I have a thing for Selfridges hehe. Nah, MK's wicked if you're into high st fashion, but with Brum, I like to go to Oasis - a gothicy shopping centre, which MK doesn't have. It's swings n roundabouts!

The metrocentre is much better now that they have extended the red zone.

I prefer to shop in city centres but if I'm feeling lazy I go to the metro. It even has a rollercoaster :thumb:

Metrocentre for me. I do like the Bull Ring too but I live nearest to the Metrocentre (with exeption of Eldon Square)

Metro Centre - even though I only get there twice a year when I get down to Newcastle!
Or the Arndale Centre in Manchester, it's pretty good. Again only been there twice though

normally im not a big fan of shopping centres, i prefer to be outside and wander round, but if i have to, its the trafford centre, purely because i can go after work and still get what i need as its open till late during the week.

in terms of the biggest, i just had a big look on the net and different sites had Metro centre, trafford centre and bluewater all as the biggest, so god knows.

I love bluewater, good mix of shops. Thought lakeside was a chavvy shithole.

The Metro Centre is the biggest after they built the new red mall, it's something stupid like 50 square feet bigger than Bluewater.

If you're going to Manchester don't bother going out to the Trafford Centre, it's a pain in the arse to get to and the shops in town are much better.

Feel I should throw in a vote for Meadowhall, as it's just down the road, and must be the best in Yorkshire. The White Rose centre doesn't even bear thinking about :nervous:
