    they gave me an unofficial offer of BBB, provided i went up there. i think it was more of an open day, with a 15 min informal interview. thats what all of em have said though! then they get confusing, sending out letters for interviews one week and then giving you an offer the next, with nothing form oyu in between! weird.

    don't go to warwick. it's almost as bad as going to oxford.
    coventry is crap place to live, or you live in kenilworth or leamington, dull towns close to the uni.
    i suggest u go to leeds instead.

    well, it'll be my first choice, if i get the marks (36 points, or more <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif">) mind u, i'm well happy - careers advisor said if i put in the effort, my predictions could get me some of the way into cambridge <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/redface.gif"&gt; <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt; <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/tongue.gif"&gt; <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

    :: Slaps himself round the head several time with a wet kipper for not posting sooner. ::

    Sorry, sorry, sorry.

    Anyway, Warwick.

    Right, academically definitely worth it, especially for Math, Phys, Chem, Law. Some departments (Math) rated higher than their Oxbridge counterparts. Campus life is good - you can live inside The Bubble and not miss anything, 'cause everything's here.

    BUT. Large swathes of Coventry are depressing. But, IMHO, anyone expecting to live in paradise while a student is deluding hirself. Leamington and Kenilworth are nicer, but further away.

    If anyone has some more specific questions I'll be more than glad to answer them - my e-mail's listed. Or just post your qns here for all to see.

    Sort of giving my indentity away now but what the f*ck: (soz about the language)

    Kenilworth the town i live in is crap and it has 10 count them 10 charity shops so don't bother going there. U not gonna have much of a nightlife if you do! Leamington is a lot better but you'll be about 8-10 miles away by then. Coventry is better, as long as u stick to student areas, definetly NOT hillfields...its the ghetto believe my matees been there the last year.

    Hope i helped?/hindered?
