What do you think?
A good law or not? Maybe it would make a few fella's think twice before having an affair with a married woman (or vice versa)?

...er, the 'property' bit aside...and being able to sue people who advice a spouse to divorce aside - ok, it's somewhat flawed, but the general principle is right.
But this wasn't about "property" per se. He was awarded damages based on the emotional attachment which was lost as a result of "third party intervention".
Interesting case IMHO because it puts some responsibility on the "third person in the marriage" for the distress they help to cause.
I meant the apparent foundation of the law in general not this specific case.
It was a bit more then just falling in love - she had his love child and denied she was having an affair until DNA tests on the baby proved she was lying.

As long as the law can work both ways - i.e. a woman can sue another woman for stealing her hubby it ain't so bad .. depends how often that law gets used and if it becomes abused.
