my cat just ran into the living room with something in her mouth .. i heard a squeak and thought 'We don't have a squeaky toy do we?'

and it was a poor mouse *shudders*

it was horrible !! i didn't know what to do so i opened the front door and the cat ran out!!

did i do the right thing or should i have saved it?!

    Well, I personally don't think you should worry too much about it. One less mice in the city I guess. :p

    to be fair I doubt you could have saved it. I've tried it many times and they drop it then pick it up again so quickly. Don't worry about it.

    They dont normally survive but cats do like to play with their food/bring it home to show off.

    Thankfully my cat is far too old to catch birds now.
