My boyfriend....

Hi i'm 19 years old and i am really concerned for boyfriend. He has been acting strange lately and the other day complained that he figured extremely low self esteem for somone of his age group. I am worrying if it is effecting his social and work life. I am quite sure that has to do with his body image. He is constantly telling me that he is incredibly ugly. I don't know what to say to him because i dont think he is ugly but when i tell him that he doesnt beleive me. Based purely on looks, what would you rate him out of 10? I'm not going to tell him this as I am currently looking for ways to help him. I just want to define the problem, that is, if he is actually ugly or it is all in his mind. Honest answers appreciated!!!

Hi, everyone has hang ups about themselves but im guessing that its really getting him down, all i cant suggest is that you try to listen to him and not judge and keep doing things that make him feel good
