Re-piercing

I had an appx 4 month old piercing that just wouldn't heal. I also decided I didn't like the placement, one part which made it so difficult to clean, which probably didn't help at all in the healing process. So I took it out last night. Is there usually a recommended time to wait until you get the same place re-pierced? It would probably only be a mm or two from the original and I don't know anything about scar tissue and that. Or once the place looks healed and all that jazz is it fine to go in and get it done again.

think it's fine to get it done close, or even over the top, or around it with bigger guage.

6 months is the recommended time to wait before repiercing scar tissue.

Yeah you have to wait about 6 months, which is shit.

My eyebrow piercing had grown out loads and I wanted it re-pierced, but I got told on here that I had to wait 6 months, so I just got the other eyebrow pierced instead. ;)
