CCCS Debt Counselling

Has anyone (doubtful, but worth a shot!) used the CCCS (Consumer Credit Counselling Service) to deal with a debt problem? How did you find the whole process?

My other half has got debts of over £25k :yeees: and despite being paid yesterday has had his card blocked by the bank so can't withdraw any money or use his debit card until God knows when. He accepts he really needs to do something about it and I looked at the CCCS website earlier and told him to ring them on Monday.

Any more suggestions? Thanks!
