    Oooooooh tough one!!!

I used to say I hated Mayo, and Ketchup would have been the winner. But then an ex girlfriend of mine made me try a ham, cheese and mayo sandwich and I fell in love with the stuff.

I really don't know, it depends on my mood and what it's going with...
They're both the two things that EVERYONE has in their fridge and cuboard, whether they like them or not!

I don't really think they can be compared. Two totally seperate foods with different uses. (Except for on chips)

That's what I was going to say.

I would use them on different things.

    Ketchup = Winner

Mayo = Tasteless almost pure lard goop-type shit

Now, if we're talking condiments of the Gods. Salad Cream :D

I think we've forgot to add the all important GARLIC MAYO though, which tastes amazing on chips and kebabs.

Don't eat it before going out on the pull though!! ;)

Seriously garlic mayo is the stuff of gods. I love it with takeaway pizza, its fantastic

    Neither, they both suck.

    Chilli/curry ketchup however is lovely.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Ketchup is more versatile than Mayo.

    Brown Sauce is king though.

Mayo with a doubt, I dont like Ketchup
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Neither really. Bit of mayo in a sandwich maybe. As for putting things like ketchup, or whatever, on your dinner i think it's quite insulting to the person who's took the time and trouble to cook you a meal and then smear it with a load of over processed crap.

Ketchup of course. It adds its own flavour to whatever you're eating, while "mayo" is tasteless and removes the taste from whatever you're eating. And I like to taste my food.

About adding a poll, you can do it from "thread tools".
