Windows Vista and Camera Drivers

Today my mummy bought me a new laptop as my other one ended it's life whilst I was away in the USA.
Now I'm trying to install some of my CD's and now have windows vista. I have been trying to get the computer to recognise my fujifilm F30 digital camera. I've tried to install the USB driver via the CD and it comes up with the message 'This is for Windows XP. Please check your OS and try again'. I went on the website and it has no other advice as it says it should be compatible. I have nearly 1000 photo's and some videos seeing as I've been away for 2.5 months and I can't upload them - anyone gimme a hand please!!!
Thank you!

Or a decent OS. :P.
(But it's probably cheaper and easier to use a memory card reader)
Just plug the camera in and turn it on.
Or put the camera model up and I'll have a look for you and see if there's a downloadable driver pack.
