Info on a scheme from the Arts Council and a group called Arts and Business

Are you passionate about the arts? Want to be part of shaping the UK's cultural life?

Arts & Business is running a new pilot programme for Young Professionals (18 to 25). We are now able to offer this unique development opportunity for the best young professionals in the South East, South West and West Midlands to gain real and valuable experience as a non-executive director and trustee on the Board of an arts organisation.

Working with Arts Council England, we are able to offer 'high-flying' young professionals the opportunity to join the Board of a professional arts organisation to gain valuable and real-life Board experience at an early stage in your careers. Naturally, we ensure that the you are trained by experts and given access to an experienced mentor who will support you and ensure that you get the most out of this unique development opportunity. Furthermore, we will also offer you personal impact and presenting with impact training as part of the package and a high profile 'graduation ceremony' in 2008. For more info contact Nadia Dooner, Arts & Business on 0121 248 1200 or via nadia.dooner@AandB.org.uk.
