Translation Websites

Wasn't really sure where this should be so I'll put in in here :)

Anyone know any good websites for translating english to turkish and vice versa? I have found a few but they won't translate whole paragraphs

    Translating into whole paragraphs is never a good idea anyway, because it always comes back out as not-quite-right.

    I would have said freetranslation.com but it doesn't have Turkish :(.

    Altavista babblefish. BUt like Franki says, they never turn out right. It just ends up sounding like poorly translated Japanese instructions. BUt if you're lucky and creative enough, you can usually guess the gist of it ;)

    Oh, nevermind, turkish isn't on the list :(

    Even if babelfish did do Turkish I wouldn't recommend it. It has to be the worst site on the net for translating stuff.

    The only thing I ever use translation sites for is single words.

    I did a few experiments for English to Russian and Spanish and their grammar was rarely, if ever, correct.

    Some of the takeaways round here are run by them. Get them to translate while they make your kebab. :D
