Now how much do they think somebody would donate for a blanket on a plank of wood :p I like the little breathing hole they've got.

Thats cool. I have stayed in those rooms that are like a box. They have them in Japan, and their are some being built at Gatwick. Mind you do feel a bit like your being burried.

    That's very cool.

I really wanna stay in one of those Japanese ones though - the ones in Gatwick are gonna be a proper cabin room not just a capsule.

I'd rather stay in a Capsule then a Dorm room - think it would be a good alternative for Hostels to offer a room full of Capsule which maybe you could lock and put all your stuff in rather then just Bunk Beds

yes I once arrived something like 12 hours before a flight from Gatwick - would have loved a place like that - we'd gone to Brighton to pick up my cousin and Gatwick was on the way back so seemed silly to go fro London to Brighton and then back to Gatwick and I seem to remember there being no trains service or something that day .. :chin:

So I went to the nearby town - bought 2 movie tickets and watched movies for 4 hours and then went by local bus to the cinema to wait another 8 hours!!

So one of those would have been just the trick.. rent by every 4 hours.

I think rooms like this and a cinema should be in every airport.

Then you encourage people to turn up early and not miss their flights.

It's nice enough, but I'd be afraid someone would come and start rolling my room down a hill when I was in bed.
