Scarborough RIP

After limping on for so many years, they've finally succumbed tio the inevitable and gone out of business. 100+ years of history just vanished. I hope they get a new club going as soon as possible.

Of course, all this can be traced back to the Football League's unforgivable decision to allow Carlisle United to sign Jimmy Glass outside of the transfer window because Carlisle had decided to sell all their goalkeepers. I'm sure the Football League don't give a toss about the death of Scarborough, though.

Of course not. Its not Arsenal, or Chelsea or Manchester United.

Tis a shame though after so many years struggling that they finally lost.

A few weeks of a Premiership players wages could probably have saved the club. The rich are getting richer at the expense of the grass roots. Shame.
