Alan Sugar had me in the palm of his hand during this time unfortunately.

i was on my CPC464 then moved onto a amiga, loved my CPC as well. those were the days.

    tape copying sessions.

xcopy for the amiga was a godsend back in the day as well.

Dizzy Egg. I had Treasure Island Dizzy on the Spectrum. Actually, I say had, I've still got it, and it's not long since I last played it. I still can't get past the bit that stumped me when I was about 6 or 7 either.

i could only get as far as the underwater bit and then i would drown :(

Christ, I loved Stunt Car Racer and King of New York (the pre It Came From the Desert/Rocket Ranger game from Cinemaware) is a massively underated game. It is still an incredible piece of gaming and maybe the only example of a really interactive movie.

If you can get it working at full speed on an emulator I'd seriously recommend playing through it three or four times...

Oh wow!! I actually spent a long period in my life grieving for the loss of Bubble Bobble!

I had the one where a man used to just walk around, in that he was feeding the goldfish, and then you could make him play the American national anthem on his record player.

And I remember the one with rainbows, ooh and pushover, with the Quavers dude!

Oh what I would give to be that age again!

I remember Lemmings, James Pond-Robocod and Mega Bomberman, but I played them on the Sega Megadrive. I saw Exile on that video too, but I played it on the BBC Micro. I would have loved to had an Amiga at the time because the graphics looked very awesome.
