No you are annoying because you have consitantly failed to justify your opinion with any facts or logical argument. Fair enough you don't have to justify anything you don't want to, but then why do you insist on repeating it then, and remaining in this thread, which is actually about the media representation of drug use? They're the actions of a troll.
...Why do people keep replying to me?

I'm not rude enough to just stop talking to someone when they're talking to me.
    Sorry.

And yet, you're still here talking? ;)
    No, I'm not.
There are no words coming from my mouth.

Degrees don't really count as intelligence.

LOL @ living a sheltered life. hardly, my friend.

Also, you don't have to try something to have a 'fucking clue'.

+ that is their choice. I honestly don't care how many people take drugs, I'm not going to be one of them.
It's my choice, and I'm not going to try something just because everyone else is. That is not who I am.

+ If the 'having the same opinion as your nan' was meant as an insult; I'd rather share her opinion, than most of the youngsters of today.
I respect you not wanting to take part, it is very much your choice and drugs don't suit everyone. But millions of people all over the world take drugs and they are not all suddenly dropping dead or ending up seriously ill. They all go back to their normal lives after, to live life normally just like non-users.
Why can't you accept drugs are not for you but some people enjoy and like them but don't come to harm? That people you live around, socialise and maybe work with take drugs yet you wouldn't have a clue?
In my personal experience, since taking drugs, I'm much more open minded, I'm also a lot calmer and less judgmental. They have made me see the world in a whole new light.
There's nothing wrong in not wanting to do something but judging people incorrectly is.
Don't get me wrong though, there is a bad side, certainly to some drugs, I've seen it with my own eyes.

Honestly. How many times to I have to say it?
It's not about caring what people think, surely this debate is about discussing our opinions and facts?
If you post then it's common knowledge people may reply to it. Don't complain when they do. It's what this place is for.

There ARE members of my friends and family that take drugs.
I know about it, I don't understand why someone would think I wouldn't know about it.
Just because they do it + I love them doesn't mean I think it's right.

If I didn't think it was wrong, I would be doing them myself.
    Would I not?
So if I think it's wrong, why shouldn't I think other people are wrong in doing them?
    They are.
    IN MY OPINION.

    I understand people enjoy them.
    It's up to them.
That doesn't mean I can't have an opinion on them doing so.

I haven't seen any disrespect of the fact that you have a different opinion to anyone else, or your right to express it. People don't respect your opinion, because they feel it's misinformed, but they have respected your right to express that opinion entirely. Asking for justification or your reasons isn't disrespect, especially when you have put your opinion on a public forum of which the very purpose is for people to challenge and discuss each others opinions.

The reason I perhaps thought you knew nothing off them, is because, quite frankly you sound like you haven't got a clue. Now I'm not slating you but coming from a drug user, your opinion is no where near what drug use is actually like. None of my friends are dim because they take drugs. In fact, one of my best friends who smokes countless amounts of weed is the most intelligent person I know, with a blossoming and envious career. His drug taking has nothing to do with and never effects his working life.
Can you at least see any of our points after the debating in this thread? I can cerainly understand someone not wanting to take drugs.

Thanks for pointing that out. My point is that your post seemed to suggest that the only reason for not doing something is that you feel it is wrong. Whereas in reality, there are a million reasons why I might choose not to do something, and I suspect the same applies to you, considering there are hundreds of things that you don't do, sports you don't play, things you don't eat, music you don't listen to, yet I suspect don't consider to be "wrong".

It was a rhetorical question, really.
Probably could have worded it better.

I understand what you're saying, but I think people are missing my point.
I don't mean it in such a way that once you take drugs your IQ lowers.
I think in order to do drugs you must be stupid. Regardless of how 'intelligent' your career, exams or whatever deem you as.
I think it's a common sense thing really.
As in, in order to do drugs you must have little or no common sense, which far outweighs any other form of 'intelligence' you might have.
    It's just an opinion. /Shrug.

I don't know great amounts about drugs, but I have seen some of it's affects.
Just because people think I'm 'mis informed' doesn't mean I don't know people who do them.

My guessing is you have been unfortunate enough to witness some bad times?
I think, from what the media portray as drug usage, then yes someone would be pretty stupid to want to try drugs.
Drugs in reality, are not actually anything like that. I guess you only really can find that out if you look into usaage with unbiased hard facts and actually get into the 'scene'.
I personally love them, I hung around with other users for a while before taking them. I saw with my own eyes they weren't bad. As before I hung out with these people, I swore I'd never take drugs because I thought they were all bad.
    My opinion drastically changed.

Isn't it funny how people stop talking when proved wrong at something, and then just pop up saying something else like they were never proved wrong?
    Aha.

I'd formed an opinion on them before the people I'm close to started drugs.
I've only really known about the effect it had recently, so my opinion isn't really based on that.

There really is nothing that would ever change my mind.
Drugs are pointless in my opinion, which is also why I'd never even bother.

I don't understand why anyone would want to try at all.

Well I take them as I enjoy the experience. Just like I read, cook up new dishes, go clothes shopping...it's just another of life's great pleasures for me. I'm not stupid and I don't want to die early or end up hooked on smack and neither of those has happened in the last 11 years or so.

Is there no other way to have a good time, though?

I know people enjoy the experience, but I honestly don't think that's a good enough reason to warrant drug use.

    Yea, sure you're not.

close-minded definition: stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas.

Seeing as you've said NOTHING could ever change your opinion on drugs, I'm pretty sure you're stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas.

You're close-minded. I'd also predict you're about 16 given the way you 'debate'.

And on the other hand, some people never shut up despite being proved completely ignorant about something, and continue digging themselves into a hole.
