We've been nominated for an award from The New Statesmen New Media Awards. Naturally this difficult task was achieved by err... nominating ourselves :blush:

    I have no idea what Jomery's motive was for saying that. I would have to agree that one or two of the people here are malicious and incredibly rude. Sadly though, that's the case with just about every board that exists. If everything that was the slightest bit contentious was removed from the Internet, you'd have practically nothing left. As I wrote, however: "...one shouldn't allow that to cloud the fact that most people here want to talk to others, to help others out, and are essentially good people. Yes, there are bad apples, but please don't make a decision based solely on them."

    That everyone who replied to Jomery were just insulting him, and that Jomery never got any help or useful advice from anyone here... which ain't exactly borne out by what I seem to remember being a huge number of replies to Jomery's threads.
